STREETS OF UPPSALA
My first series of street photographs was created in Uppsala, marking my initial venture into this genre. I aimed to capture the authenticity and atmosphere of everyday life, focusing on spontaneous, unposed scenes. Each photo tells a small story, from girls riding bicycles to elderly people on benches. After reviewing and lightly editing the photos, I was pleased with the unique details and colors. This experience taught me the importance of being an attentive observer and the beauty in everyday moments, making street photography an art of capturing fleeting instances.
ARCHITECTURE
Architectural photography fascinates me as it allows capturing the unique beauty of buildings, both historical and modern. Each structure, whether an old tenement house, a majestic castle, or a new skyscraper, has its own story and character. I seek the frame that best conveys my emotions, exploring different perspectives, angles, and lighting to highlight details. Patience and attentiveness are key, as the best moments for capturing a building can vary throughout the day. Understanding the history and context of the architecture helps in capturing its soul and uniqueness.
